Elmhurst Park District is getting Active this year with the launch of its new registration software, ActiveNet. Account verification and set-up will open to Park District users on November 1.
The ActiveNet site will be used for program registration, pass memberships (including Courts Plus memberships) and facility reservations. With a user-friendly interface, simple navigation and customizable features, the Park District looks forward to debuting the software to the community.
ActiveNet will replace RecTrac, which the Park District determined was not capable of fulfilling the needs of the Elmhurst community after repeated system failures during high volume registration dates. It was chosen after an extensive review of software options. It’s a well-established software provider within the parks and recreation industry, with clients including Chicago and Naperville Park Districts.
Park District users will start using ActiveNet for registration with programming featured in the Winter 2024 Brochure. Beginning November 1, users will be able to login to ActiveNet to verify or set-up their account before Winter Registration on December 9.
If you’ve registered for a program in the past two years, account information will be automatically transferred into the new system. You’ll simply need to login to change your password and verify your account information is accurate. Those who have not registered since October 2021 will need to create a new account.
Prior to Winter Registration, the Park District will also be providing how-to videos and walk throughs to help users become familiar with the new software.
Park District users are invited to visit epd.org/news/get-active to view FAQs and keep up-to-date on the latest ActiveNet information. Those with questions about setting up an ActiveNet account can contact Elmhurst Park District Registration or call Wagner Community Center at (630) 993-8901 beginning November 1.
